We are a privately-held company, based in the Chicago (O’Hare) area, experiencing rapid growth. We have an immediate need for national account sales reps to drive non-retail branded business to foodservice accounts including chain restaurants, amusement parks, convenience stores,etc. and national account sales reps to focus on contract manufacturing accounts with major food/marketing companies.Responsibilities include:• Sale of custom food products and product development services.• Direct one-to-one communications with customers and product development personnel. Establish and maintain strong relationships with key customers.• Develop new accounts along with maintaining current customers.• Demonstrate products and provide input and assistance in the best application of the products.• Assist in the development of food products to meet customer needs.• May coordinate company technical development and product support and services• Analyze and interpret sales, trends, costs, estimated and realized revenue, administrative commitments, and obligations incurred.• Contact prospects and explain features and merits of products that can be developed.• Prepare sample requests and development of new products in conjunction with product development chef.• Coordinate artwork and packaging requirements.• Organize and represent company at trade shows.• Travel 30-35%.
